atomgo is an app for small businesses to keep stock, warehouses, parties, sales and purchases. This page says what we collect when you use the atomgo app on Android or on the web, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your mobile number, to sign you in with a one-time code sent by SMS. We do not use passwords.
- Your name and your business details that you enter: business name, GSTIN, state, address and the names and numbers of staff you invite.
- The records you enter: products, prices, stock and stock movements, warehouses, customers and suppliers (parties), invoices, bills, orders and payments.
- Basic technical data: the device model, app version and error logs when something fails, so we can fix it.
The Android app can read the one-time code from the SMS we send, with your permission, so you don't have to type it. It reads that one message only. Barcode scanning uses Google Play services; the app does not need or keep camera access.
Why we collect it
Only to run the app for you: to sign you in, to keep your business's records and show them to you and the staff you invite, to make documents like invoices, and to support you when you ask for help. We do not use your business records for advertising.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. We use a small number of service providers to run atomgo: cloud hosting in India (Google Cloud) and an SMS provider to deliver sign-in codes. They process data only on our instructions. We will disclose data if Indian law requires it.
How we keep it safe
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Each business's records are visible only to the people that business has added. Staff access is limited by the role the owner gives them.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open. Invoices and other records may need to be kept for the period Indian tax law requires; after you close your account we delete or anonymise the rest within 30 days.
Deleting your account
To delete your account and your business's data, email [email protected] from or with the mobile number you sign in with. We confirm it is you, then delete the account within 30 days and tell you when it is done. You can also ask us for a copy of your data.
Children
atomgo is a business tool for adults. It is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
